THANK YOU!

This years presentation to the public gathered an immense amount of feedback and new ideas to implement!
We Thank everyone that dared to step into our Studio and contributed to make this a wonderful experience.

Our Event goals:

  • Only advertised before the date;

  • Studio entrance decorated  with QR code and teaser image;

  • Soft engagement with people who showed curiosity at the entrance = genuine interest.

  • Comfortable environment with no time limit for discussion, allowing guests to become fully immersed in the experience and lose track of time.

  • Analise the perception of historical facts, expectation of the city's aesthetics, self localization, input for areas of growing curiosity, navigation limits/velocity/point-of-view, level of immersion, engagement time/attention span.

Why:

This was our second experiment that used a sample of the population to make a study of the target audience. This time we focused on key aspects of gameplay, engagement and perception. For that reason, we relied only on the curiosity of people that stopped at the entrance of our studio.

Our General Key Conclusions:

  • It proved again to be super valuable to expose the project to the public in an early stage;

  • Many new game design and interaction ideas came up, and will be implemented;

  • Recognition of Historical and Archaeological rigor;

  • Pure amazement and Thankfulness for the experience;

  • Cultural pride, renovated sense of belonging and continuity with the region's past;

  • Subtle reflections on current social divisions and political views;

  • Reflections about historical perception;

  • Many questions about the future of the project;

  • Offers to buy the project as it is;

  • Public took personal investment into exposing the project and convey the message to potential investors;

  • Cross Generational interaction

  • Even the ones in some kind of a rush, lost themselves in time. That sometimes created some tension at the entrance, which points towards the need for a larger venue for this experience.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We are entering a new phase of the project, with fresh opportunities on the horizon. We will take the necessary time to allow the project to be evaluated by stakeholders and to invite new bids. Thanks to this presentation, we gathered people with the right motivation to work alongside and include the newest archaeological finds.
